Safety Mechanisms in Our Games Ensuring Player Protection

Game Changer has developed its own set of safety systems to provide players with secure and responsible play environments in all our Roblox experiences:

  • Safety Mode - in our experiences* we provide the option to disable all interactions with other players, including general chat, voice chat, and player-to-player interaction.

    *for existing games (based on client decisions), for all new games – mandatory

  • Unified Ban Database - users who receive a ban in any of our games are automatically banned across all other titles developed by us on the platform.

  • Anti-Exploit Tools & Secure Code Structure - to prevent cheating, abuse, and unauthorized user actions, we run key gameplay logic and verification server-side.

  • No Private Spaces - our games are designed as open environments, without isolated areas accessible only to a limited group of players, reducing opportunities for secluded interactions.

  • No Private Messaging - we have disabled direct private messages in all our experiences, reducing the risk of unwanted contact, grooming attempts, or fraudulent communication.

  • We are continuously working on additional solutions to support safe, responsible, and inclusive play environments for users of all ages.

Safety Education

Players will encounter multiple safety-focused messages across our games that teach responsible behavior and encourage reporting of abuse:

  • In-game pop-ups - educational pop-ups help players report or block inappropriate behavior directly in the game

  • Chat safety tips - periodic, discreet reminders in chat reinforce safety rules and positive behavior standards

  • Loading screens - during loading, players are shown safety reminders and community guidelines

  • Experience descriptions - game descriptions clearly communicate that the title was created with safety-first design principles

by Roblox

Security in Our Roblox Games

To ensure a safe and comfortable gameplay environment for users of all ages, Roblox has developed a number of features and systems designed to enhance player safety.

  • Voice Chat - we have decided to disable voice chat entirely across all our games, until Roblox introduces stronger moderation and safety controls on their end.

  • Chat Filtering - the system automatically removes offensive language and any content that violates community guidelines. It also blocks attempts to communicate outside the platform. The filter works in multiple languages, including Polish.

  • Blocking Redirects to External Pages - Roblox does not allow the inclusion of links leading to external websites.

  • Access Control to Experiences - Roblox enables developers to fully manage access to their games. At Game Changer, we decide which users gain entry to a given experience and what actions they are allowed to perform.

  • Age Ratings for Games - every experience is labeled with an age category (e.g., “All Ages,” “9+,” “13+”), allowing inappropriate content to be restricted for younger audiences.

Age Verification

Once age is confirmed with an official document, users receive different permissions depending on their age group:

  • Under 13 - self-verification is not possible

  • 13+ - access to “Trusted Connections” and voice chat

  • 17+ - access to experiences marked “+17”

  • 18+ - unfiltered chat

Using Chat Without Age Verification

Depending on the age provided during account registration, players receive access to different chat types:

  • Under 13 - the youngest users are limited to “safe chat,” significantly restricting any inappropriate communication

  • 13+ - older users gain access to a less restricted chat system
